This paper presents a qualitative research carried out in the context of music education, in dialogue with sociology, about musical learning experiences of musicians of the group “Inestimable Love” (AMI) in the process of building the musical album “I am never alone”. Data were collected through four interviews with four musicians from the AMI group and were analyzed: from the perspective of music education as a social practice proposed by Souza (2004), under the concept of experience conceived by Larrosa (2011) and under the perspective of social experience elucidated by Dubet (1994).
